Broken Words is a collaborative video project that explores a new dance poetry by combining energetically charged, language-covered robes with choreographed, ritualistic duets in landscapes of damage and beauty along the Hudson Ribver. Words from love poetry are broken into syllables and adhered to the surface of two metallic silk robes. Each letter is hand cut from copper foil.
