Copper, shawangunk crystal stones
Hudson River: Meditation/Mediation, part of The Peekskill Project on the banks of the Hudson River. A copper bowl filled with quartz crystal stones, 450 million years old, collected from the Shawangunk mountains and taken to the banks of the Hudson River. Participants hold the stones while listening to nine meditations being read. A metal vessel sounds while participants throw the stones into the river focusing their awareness on the crystal structure and its ability to amplify and transform energy and matter.
